Privacy Policy

Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and a hashed password. We never store your raw password.

Business Data You Upload: Order reports, payment reports, and return files that you upload from your marketplace (e.g. Meesho) are stored securely and used solely to power your dashboard.

Usage Data: We may collect anonymised usage metrics (pages visited, features used) to improve the product. This data cannot be linked back to individual users.

Device & Browser Info: Standard web-server logs (IP address, browser type, OS) are retained for security and debugging purposes for up to 30 days.

We use your data exclusively to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the TrackEcom dashboard.
• Calculate your P&L, reconcile payments, and generate reports.
• Send transactional emails (account verification, password reset).
• Respond to your support queries.
• Detect fraud, abuse, or security threats.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or business data to any third party.

All data is stored on servers located in India or within secure cloud regions. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest) to protect your information.

Access to production databases is restricted to authorised personnel only and is protected by multi-factor authentication.

While we take every precaution, no system is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your TrackEcom account.

We retain your account and business data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will permanently delete all associated data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Anonymised, aggregated analytics data (which cannot identify you) may be retained indefinitely to improve the product.

TrackEcom uses essential cookies to maintain your login session. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

You can disable cookies in your browser, but doing so will prevent you from logging in.

We use a limited number of trusted third-party services to operate TrackEcom:

• Database hosting — for secure, reliable data storage.
• Email delivery — for transactional emails (e.g. password reset).

These providers are contractually required to keep your data confidential and may not use it for any other purpose.

TrackEcom offers a Google Chrome extension, "TrackEcom — Meesho Sync," that helps sellers bring their Meesho data into their TrackEcom account. This section describes how the extension handles data.

What the extension accesses. When you are signed in to your Meesho Supplier account (supplier.meesho.com), the extension reads your order, payment, return, and claim reports and the related financial figures shown in your Meesho panel. It may automatically download the export files Meesho generates (served from Google Cloud Storage, storage.googleapis.com) and upload them to your TrackEcom account so they appear on your dashboard.

Authentication. The extension reads your existing TrackEcom login session (a cookie on trackecom.in) to obtain a temporary access token, which is stored locally in your browser and used to securely upload your data to your own TrackEcom account. The extension does not collect your Meesho password or your TrackEcom password.

Permissions we request and why:

• storage — save your connection token and sync preferences locally in your browser.
• cookies — read your TrackEcom login session to authenticate the extension to your account.
• tabs / scripting — locate or open your Meesho Supplier tab and read the report data and KPIs on it.
• alarms — run the optional daily automatic sync at the time you choose.
• notifications — tell you when a sync completes or fails.
• Host access to supplier.meesho.com (read your seller data), storage.googleapis.com (download Meesho's own export files), and trackecom.in (send the data to your account).

Data handling. The extension transmits your Meesho business data only to TrackEcom's servers, to populate your own account. We do not sell this data, and we do not use it for advertising. It is retained and protected as described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy.

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and all associated data.
• Portability — export your business data (orders, payments, etc.) in CSV format at any time from within the app.

TrackEcom is intended for business use by adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Significant changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification.

Continued use of TrackEcom after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
